A condolence meeting was held in the Department of Convergent Journalism, School of Media Studies, Central University of Kashmir (CUK), at Tulmulla Campus to mourn the demise of the mother of Sr. Assistant Professor at the department, DrAsif Khan.
According to a statement, the meeting conducted both offline as well as online, was attended by Dean School Media Studies, Prof. ShahidRasool, Head of Department Dr. ArifNazir, Senior Assistant Professors Dr John K. Babu, DrNookarajuBendukurthi, Rashid Maqbool besides staff members and students.
“Prof Shahid in his message, he prayed for peace of the deceased soul and strength for the bereaved family. DrArifNazir also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul. Special prayers were held and fateha offered for the departed soul,” the statement reads.
