Day 3: Tral shuts to mourn militants’ killing

A complete shutdown was observed for the third consecutive day on Thursday in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district to mourn the killing of two militants in a gunfight with the government forces on Tuesday.

All the shops and business establishments remained closed inthe area while public transport was off the roads. Two Hizbul Mujahideen militants, Irfan Ahmad Rather alias Abu Talib fromSharifabad locality and Adfar Fayaz alias Abu Zarar of Gulshapora village ofTral, were killed in the gunfight on Tuesday.

   

People from different areas continued to visit the houses of the slain militants and offered prayers for them.
