Deputy Commissioner Budgam Tariq Hussain Ganai today visited various brick kilns in Budgam and distributed ration among the labourers.
According to a statement, the DC visited brick kilns atWaterwani, Nasrullahpora, Gariend and Chandpora and sensitized the labourers onmeasures they need to take to contain the spread of coronavirus. He urged themto maintain proper hygiene at their temporary shelters and ensure propercleanliness and social distance during their work and stay.
The DC directed the concerned that the labourers arriving towork at the Brick kilns must be allowed to stay and work in the district onlyafter proper screening.
