A taziyati majlis was held at the residence of Rashid Makhdoomi, printer, publisher Greater Kashmir, at his Zakura Srinagar to condole the demise of his mother, who passed away last week.
The majlis was led by Sajadah Nisheen Ziyarat-e-Mukhdoom Sahab (Ra) Chief Petron Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation on Friday.
During the majlis, heartfelt condolences were expressed to the bereaving family particularly to Rashid Makhdoomi.
The Sajadah Nisheen described the deceased as a virtuous woman and said the death is an irreparable loss to the bereaving family.
The majlis was also attended by Ghulam Mohammad Saki Secretary Jamiyat-e- Hamdhania and Moulana Abdul Haq Owaisee, Moulana Showkat Hussain Kent, Yaseen Zebra, Moulana Shabir Ahmad Makhdoomi, Moulana Ali Mohammad Makhdoomi, Hilal Ahmad Mandi, Bashir Ahmad Rather President Kashmir Traders Manufacturers Federation.
During the meeting, tributes were paid to the departed soul and sympathy and solidarity was expressed with the bereaving family particularly with Rashid Makhdoomi sahib.
