Demise of Pir Jalal-ud-Din widely condoled

The demise of noted religious figure Pir Jalal-ud-Din sahib aka Lal sahib of Batamaloo, who passed away on Tuesday forenoon, is widely condoled.

Late Lal sahib was the elder brother of Muhammad Siddique, Head, Human Resources Administration, GK Communication.

   

Jammu and Kashmir National Conference party president and member of parliament (MP) from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah, and vice president Omar Abdullah on Wednesday expressed sorrow and grief over the demise and prayed for the peace to the deceased and fortitude to the bereaving family in their hour of grief.

Dr. Farooq also expressed unison with the grief-stricken family, terming the deceased a virtuous and a noble soul. “I pray to Almighty to bestow the highest echelons in Jannah to the deceased. Late Lal sahib shall be known for his religious, scholarly and pious endowments. I express my solidarity with the family and admirers of Lal sahib, in particular his younger brother Muhammad Siddique in their hour of grief,” he said.

Meanwhile party’s general secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Irfan Shah and spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar have also condoled the demise of Lal sahib, prayed for peace to departed soul, and expressed solidarity with the family and admirers of his.

People’s Democratic Party also condoled Pir Jalal-ud-Din’s death.

In a statement issued, the party leaders said that indeed it is shocking and irreparable loss for society. “We pray to Allah to bless the departed soul with eternal peace in heaven and give enough strength to family members to bear sorrow,” the leaders said.

Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, Khursheed Alam,Abdul Rouf Bhat ,Abdul Hameed Kohseen ,Waheed Parra and Arif Laigaroo were among the many who condoled the demise.

Chairman People’s Democratic Front (PDF) Hakeem Yaseen while condoling the demise said that Lal Sahib was loved and revered by a vast section of the society due to his humbleness, piety and social service. He was also patron of Shiekh Dawood Khadmat-i-Khalakh Foundation, Batamaloo.

Hakeem Yaseen, while conveying his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family prayed for eternal peace to the bereaved soul.

Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) also condoled the demise of Pir Jalal-ud-Din.

The Association in a statement issued expressed their deepest sympathies with the bereaving family and prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength and courage to them at this juncture and also prayed for eternal peace and highest place in Jannat for the departed.

The Association also urged its members to pray for Allah’s blessings for the departed soul and courage to the family.

Kashmir News Service Managing Director M Aslam Bhat has also prayed for the departed soul and expressed sympathies with the family of peer Jalal u din especially with Mohammad Siddique.
