Director General, Border Security Force, Rajni Kant Mishra, called on Governor Satya Pal Malik at Raj Bhavan here on Thursday, an official spokesman said in a statement.
He said that Mishrabriefed Governor about the functioning of the BSF in J&K and discussedvarious issues connected with internal and external security and smooth conductof the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra 2019.
The Governor lauded the role being played by the BSF ineffectively guarding the internationalborder of the country.
