Deputy Inspector General of Police (CKR) V K Birdi today visited Kheer Bhawani temple and reviewed the security arrangements made for the devotees, who would visit the temple to attend the annual mela, a police spokesman said.
He said that the DIGBirdi was accompanied by SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal and other senior officers of the district.The SSP gave a detailed briefing about the elaborate security arrangements putin place for the devotees and necessary facilities available for theconvenience of devotees at security checkpoints.
