Under the aegis of CAP (Civic Action Programme), DIG NKR distributed certain essential items among orphans here in north Kashmir on Monday, a police spokesman said.
He said theinitiative is aimed at the welfare of society particularly the orphans so as toequip them with adequate resources.
The DIG NKR at a ceremony held at Bait-ul-Falah Yateem TrustSinghpora Pattan distributed geysers, school bags, blankets and variousstationary items among 52 orphans.
