Deputy Inspector General of Police North Kashmir Suleman Chaudhary accompanied by SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik visited Sumbal Bandipora and took stock of arrangements put in place for Annual Amarnath Yatra at Transit camp Shadipora Sumbal.
DIG NKR also held a detailed security review meeting withthe officers of police, CAPF and other law enforcement agencies forfacilitating synergy, better coordination & communication among forcesduring the Yatra. He took extensive review of the arrangements put in place tofacilitate the smooth & secure movement of Yatries.
He directed the concerned officers to work in closecoordination and take all necessary steps to ensure that common commuters don’tsuffer during the Yatra. He also reviewed the arrangements put in place bydifferent service providers & emphasised on them to take all necessarysteps for smooth conduct of Yatra.SSP Bandipora gave a detailed briefing about thesecurity & traffic arrangements being put in place by police in closecoordination with other security agencies for smooth and peaceful Yatra.
