Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) Thursday organized a daylong seminar-cum-cultural programme for the persons with special needs at Media Complex Srinagar here.
The programme “Know Me for My Ability” was aimed at remembering those living with different kinds of disabilities and acknowledging their struggles and contributions.
The participants in the programme included differently abled people from different districts of Kashmir and artists from the Cultural Unit of DIPR.
DC Srinagar, Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, was the chief guest on the occasion. The programme was organised in collaboration with the HOPE Disability Centre.
