Director Horticulture, Kashmir Ajaz Ahmad Bhat visited IGC Lassipora, Pulwama on Monday, inspected various cold store units and took stock of their functioning.
He informed the entrepreneurs to invest in this sector for harnessing the potential benefits for growth and employment generation in this regard.
Bhat urged all the interested budding entrepreneurs to invest in the horticulture sector for creation and establishment of various prospective industrial units in this regard to facilitate the stakeholders, particularly the farming community with the utilization of raw material produced and its value addition for earning better livelihood through this sector.
