Director Horticulture, Kashmir, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat Sunday attended the Bal Divas at Khandiyal Gurez.
The Director, who was a visiting officer to north Kashmir’s Gurez area, was accompanied by Sub-District Magistrate (SDM), CHO Bandipora, SDPO, BDC, Chairperson, Tehsildar, Executive Engineer, R&B, BDO, Sarpanch and all frontline worker in the Bal Sabha.
The Director distributed stationary items, Poly green houses and kits to the Lactating mothers. On the occasion various issues and demands concerning the general public were discussed. The official said many demands like providing of medical staff, mechadamization of roads, providing of water connections, wash room facility & installation of towers at Razdan top where new electric line is established.
The team of officers headed by Bhat, also visited underground bunker where the demand put forth by the public for providing mating and water connections, the Director Horticulture assured the public for taking up the issues with the concerned authorities for early redresal of such demands.
Later the Director visited Chorwan, Achora,, Tarabal, Tulail area and inspected various works and assured the public for taking their genuine demands with the concerned authorities.
