Prof A G Ahangar, Director, SKIMS & Ex-Officio Secretary to Government and Staff of the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences in a condolence meeting held in SKIMS Board Room expressed their deep sorrow on the sad demise of Dr Abdul Rasheed, HOD Pathology, SKIMS Medical College/Hospital, Bemina.
According to a statement, “While offering heartfelt sympathies and condolences, Prof. A.G. Ahangar said that their thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family. He hoped that the family is able to draw strength in this hour of grief and said that whole of the SKIMS Organization stands shoulder to shoulder with the family at this difficult time.”
He prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace in Heaven.
Meanwhile Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) also mourned the demise of Dr Abdul Rasheed Rather. Paying rich tributes to the deceased, DAK members prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and expressed heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family.
Saddened over the death, President DAK DrNisarul Hassan in a statement said it is a great loss to the medical fraternity and his death has resulted in a great void in the field of medicine.
