Secretary Social Welfare, Cooperatives & Tribal Affairs Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone today called for immediate disbursement of pension to the 40000 new cases sanctioned by the Social Welfare Department recently.
“The pension to these new cases must be disbursed by 15 November 2018 failing which action will be taken against the delinquent District Social Welfare Officers,” Dr Lone said at a meeting convened here today to review the functioning of Directorate of Social Welfare Jammu, Women’s Dev Corporation and SC/ST/BC Development Corporation.
