District magistrate (DM) Bandipora on Tuesday ordered complete ban on public movement in two villages of this district after two more persons from these areas tested positive for COVID19.
An order issued by the DM said, “No movement of anyindividual for any reason whatsoever shall be permitted into and out ofvillages Gund- Jehangeer and Naidkhai villages of Tehsil Hajin of DistrictBandipora.
“For any medical emergency, individuals can contact theControl Room on 01957-225024/225323,” it read.
The authorities have also warned people that any violationof the order would incur punitive action under section 188 IPC & otherrelevant provisions of Epidemic Disease Act 1897 and the Disaster ManagementAct 2005.
