Dr Farooq, Omar express grief over Hyderabad exhibition fire incident

Jammu and Kashmir National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah and vice- president Omar Abdullah on Friday expressed sorrow over the fire incident that broke out at Nampally, Telengana, Hyderabad Numaish exhibition the other day gutting stalls of Kashmiri traders.

Dr Farooq  urged the government of Telengana to provide adequate and immediate compensation to the effected traders. “As per the reports most of the stalls belong to Kashmiri traders displaying dry fruits, shawls and others handicrafts. The reports suggest that the stock worth crores of rupees has been damaged,” he said adding that the incumbent Governor administration should also intervene and provide succor to the effected traders.

   

Party’s vice president Omar Abdullah got in touch with working president of Telengana Rashtra Samiti KT Rama Rao and urged him to provide all possible support to the effected Kashmiri traders. “He has assured me that he will provide all help to the effected traders from Kashmir,” Omar said. 

Meanwhile Party General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Mubarak Gull, Shameema Firdous, and District President Srinagar Peer Afaq have also expressed sorrow over the incident urging the Governor’s administration to come to the rescue of effected traders.
