Jammu and Kashmir police Monday claimed to have arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
“Officers at a checkpoint near Papchan, Bandipora,intercepted a person and recovered 510gms Charas from his possession,” a policehandout said.
It identified the person as Mohammad Shafi Bhat of LawdaraBandipora.
An FIR has been registered and an investigation has beentaken up.
