A drug peddler was arrested and psychotropic substances recovered from his possession in Sopore on Monday, Police said.
It said Police officials at a checkpoint established at Warpora, Sopore intercepted an individual identified as Bilal Ahmad Lone of Botingoo, Sopore.
Police said during checking, the officials recovered 192 capsules of psychotropic substance from his possession.
The drug peddler was arrested and shifted to Police Post Warpora, Police said.
It said a case under FIR No 04/2021 has been registered at Police Station Sopore.
