Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) on Tuesday demanded strict punishment to the accused involved in a case of communally sensitive video, “aimed at hurting religious sentiments of a community.
Condemning the incident, EJAC President Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam said some elements were hell bent to create divide and disharmony in the society. “The public should not give them any chance and should maintain unity and brotherhood in such critical times,” he said, adding such incidents cannot be tolerated and the administration should take strict and immediate action against the culprits.
