Chairman PDF Hakeem Yaseen has expressed grief over the death of Numberdar of Macho Beerwa, Shabir Ahmed Malik, who died of electrocution.
In a statement issued to KNS, Hakeem Yaseen while conveyinghis sympathies to the bereaved family, demanded a probe into the death ofMalik.
He said the concerned PDD field officials should be heldresponsible for the unfortunate incident.
He said due to non availability of the field staff on duty,the Numberdar was forced to see the power transformer in a bid to restore powersupply to his village, which became the cause of his instant death.He also demanded ex gratia relief to thebereaved family and government job to the next of kin of the deceased.
