Employees’ Union SKIMS MCH holds meeting

The Non-Gazetted Employees’ Union, SKIMS Medical College & Hospital, Bemina has welcomed initiation of development works at the hospital.

At a meeting held here, the union hailed Principal Dr RiyazUntoo for initiating various developmental projects at the hospital.

   

The meeting was presided over by union president Gayas UdDin Teli. The members hailed Dr Untoo for starting long-pending developmentprojects at the hospital. They also hailed Dr Untoo on behalf of the SecurityCadre and others “for being supportive to the staff and addressing theirproblems.” Teli in a statement said that under Dr Untoo’s “able leadership”many progressive steps have been taken to uplift this Institution.

According to Teli, the members at the meeting hailed thePrincipal for ensuring that the patient-care remained the outmost priority atthe institution.

“They also hailed the Principal for ensuring due elevationsof the employees on the basis of their experience and qualification,” thestatement said.

“The security cadre like other service cadres at theinstitution was deprived of promotion for a long time. But with the efforts ofthe Principal, this issue has been addressed,” the statement said, adding thatit is for the first time that the genuine and legitimate demands of theemployees have been addressed.
