Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday extended enrolment date for pensioners, who desire to opt for the group Mediclaim insurance policy up to November 30.
A circular number 06 -FD of 2018 dated, October 19, 2018 stated that final opportunity is being provided to the pensioners who have not yet submitted their consent forms for deduction of premium from their pension accounts to the concerned bank or treasuries to enroll for the group Mediclaim insurance policy.
“The willing pensioners should submit the prescribed consent form along with the enrolment form upto November 30th 2018 to the concerned bank branches or treasuries where from they are drawing their pension. The pensioners, who will opt the policy after October, 1st to November, 30th 2018, shall be covered under the instant Insurance policy for full year with effect from December, 1 2018 to November 30th, 2019,” the circular said.
“The concerned bank branches and treasuries are directed to accept the consent forms and deduct the prescribed premium as per the govt order No: 406-FD dated 20-09-2018 and credit the same to the proper account as already notified,” it said.
The insurance company has empanelled the private hospitals of the J&K especially Kashmir region in the network list. The beneficiaries can download the same from the official website of the Finance Department, and Insurance Company’s website www.reliancegeneral.co.in, the circular stated.
