President of Awami Ithad Party (AIP) Er Rasheed on Monday announced that he would sit on a 72-hour dharna to demand Sadhna Top-Gurez tunnel.
Addressing public meetings at Tangdar, Jarda, Dildar,Tetwal, Seemari and other places Er. Rasheed said that people of Karnah haveshown the way that how the vote can be used as an agent of change. “Not onlythat people of Karnah have rejected those forces who always encourage andcreate ethnic and regional divide in the society but have shown the way how torise to the occasion and follow voice of conscience,” he added.
Er Rasheed announceda seventy two hour long sit-in outside civil secretariat against the failure ofthe government to provide tunnel at Sadhna Top and Gurez. He said, “It will bea peaceful sit-in starting from 8 July to draw attention of state and centralgovernments against the burning issue of providing tunnel for Karnah andGurez.”
