National Conference, President, Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President, Omar Abdullah, Monday paid glowing tributes to Haji Ghulam Nabi Wani Sogami on his 38th death anniversary.
The party president said, “Late Sogami sahib was an outstandingpolitical figure of his times. His good work for the downtrodden people livingin the remote area of Kashmir shall be remembered for all times to come. MayAllah grant him highest place in Jannat.”
Omar Abdullah in his message said, “Late Sogami sahib shallbe remembered for his political acumen and selfless service to people. His goodwork in building reservoirs and ensuring drinking water facilities acrossremote areas shall be remembered for the times to come.
“He had dedicated his life for the socio-politicalemancipation of the people. On this day I pay my glowing tributes to him.”
Meanwhile party’s general secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar,Salman Ali Sagar and Imran Nabi Dar have also paid tributes.
