National Conference President, Farooq Abdullah and Vice President, Omar Abdullah on Friday expressed grief over demise of prominent socio-political personality, Muhammad Asadullah Beigh, from Tangmarg.
The deceased was the brother of former MLC, Mirza GhulamAhmad Beigh, and brother-in-law of the party’s provincial Secretary, ShowkatAhmad Mir.
While extending condolences to the grief-stricken family,Abdullah and Omar prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to themournful family. While extending condolences to Mir, the duo described thedeceased as a noble soul, who shall be remembered for his benevolent character.
Meanwhile, the party’s Additional General Secretary, SheikhMustafa Kamal; MP, Muhammad Akbar Lone; senior leader, Mian Altaf Ahmad;district President Baramulla, Javaid Ahmad Dar; party spokesperson, Imran NabiDar; party’s north zone President, Dr Sajad Shafi Uri; Farooq Shah, KhwajaMuhammad Yaqoob Wani, youth leader Jehangir Yaqoob Wani have also extendedcondolences to the mournful family.
