National Conference (NC) President Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah Monday expressed grief over the demise of Dr Bashir Ahmad Zargar, who breathed his last in London on Sunday.
A statement of NC issued here said the duo prayed for the peace of the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family.
It said that the NC president also talked to the bereaved family over phone and offered condolences with them.
The statement said Farooq and Omar expressed sympathy with the Kawoosa and Zargar families in their hour of grief.
