National Conference President Farooq Abdullah and vice president Omar Abdullah on Sunday expressed condolences to broadcaster Maqsood Ahmad on the demise of his father Khwaja Muhammad Hanief of Uri.
The duo in their message prayed for peace to the departedsoul and strength to the bereaved family to bear the loss. Meanwhile Chairman PDF Hakeem Yaseen also expressed hisgrief and sorrow over the demise of Khawaja Hanief, father of renownedbroadcaster Maqsood Uri and uncle of journalist Zaffer Iqbal. Yaseen conveyedhis heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace tothe departed soul.
Senior trade union leader and EJAC president Fayaz AhmadShabnam has also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise. He expressed solidarity with the bereaved andprayed for peace to the departed soul.
