The father of top Hizb commander Riyaz Naikoo was arrested by the government forces during a night raid in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports said forces raided the house of Naikoo at Beighpora and detained his father Asadullah Naikoo (70).
A police official said that the senior Naikoo has been detained for questioning.
18 youth have been detained during raids in several villages of Pulwama district during raids last night.
