Police on Friday claimed to have arrested two persons— a man and his son—with charas in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.
Giving details, a police officer said that during a nakachecking laid by Sopore police the father-son duo was held along with largequantity of charas at Teliyaan Sopore this afternoon.
The officer said earlier people of the town had informed thepolice that the duo had been supplying the charas to the youth.
The officer identified the arrested persons as: GhulamMohiudin Dar alias Mahad Chuntii son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar of Teliyaan MohallaArampora Sopore and his son Ghulam Hassan Dar.
The officer said a case FIR 209/2019 U/S 8/20, 29 NDPS Acthas been registered at Police Station Sopore and further investigationinitiated.
