A five-day workshop on data science and information security concluded at Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora.
The event was jointly organised by Department of ComputerScience and Engineering and ECE of IUST, in collaboration with MAKAUT, WestBengal under TEQIP-III.
Vice Chancellor Central University Kashmir (CUK) Prof Me’rajUd Din Mir was the chief guest while as VC IUST Prof Mushtaq A Siddiqi wasguest of honor at the inaugural session.
Prof Siddiqi highlighted various security related problemsand urged researchers to work towards building reliable solutions to preventmisuse of technology.
Prof Me’raj Ud Din spoke about ethical implications ofartificial intelligence and its dangers in “controlling humanity”.
