Baldev Singh Raina, Chairman PHD Chamber, KASHMIR CHAPTER and CEO Peaks Group, on Tuesday urged people follow health advisories issued by the government and stay home.
“I urge all citizens to act on the advisories by staying attheir homes. The only way we can save ourselves, our loved ones from this virusis to maintain social distancing,” Raina said.
He said the 15-day period of isolation and social distancingwill not harm anybody but instead help people.
“Whatever the economic cost, we shall stay home to saveourselves and people around us,” he said. “It is my heartfelt request toeveryone to stand with each other and to cooperate. This is the only way we canfight against this pandemic and I have full faith that by taking theseprecautions we all will come out of this situation.”
He said today the pandemic disease has taken many livesglobally. “We all can see what the world is suffering from. The well knowcountries have also failed in curing this deadly disease, which has causedgreat disaster,” Raina said. “It is rapidly spreading in India as well and wecan’t interpret that how bad will our society face this pandemic. I urge allpeople to follow the advisories.”
