Search operation was launched in Pathan village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday evening following a grenade attack on an army vehicle.
A police source said that the militants hurled a grenade at a vehicle of army 55 RR passing through Pathan village of the district today evening.
He said an exchange of fire took place after the blast, adding that there was no immediate report of any casualties.
Soon, he said, reinforcements were rushed to the area and a cordon-and-search-operation was launched in Khar and Ganai mohallas.
