A massive cordon-and-search operation (CASO) was launched in over a dozen villages of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
Reports said that soldiers of Army’s 55 RR, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Special Operations Group (SOG) personnel laid a siege around as many as 15 villages of the district today morning.
They said the villages where door-to-door searches were going on include Rohmu, Below, Mitrigam, Gasu, Chek, Mirgund, Chek, Sheikhpora, Hanjan, Frasipura and Kamrazipura.
The operation was underway when this report was being filed.
