Government forces on Saturday evening launched a cordon and search operation in Tarzoo area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official said that a joint team of Army’s 52 RR unit, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF launched the operation following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
SSP Sopore, Javid Iqbal confirmed that CASO was underway in Tarzoo area.
