Government forces on early Friday morning launched a cordon-and-search-operation at a village in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
A police official said that the forces laid a siege around the Heff village and started a door to search operation.
He said the operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants.
The operation was underway when the reoprts last came.
