Four civilians injured in Awantipora grenade blast

Four civilians were injured, one of them critically, in a grenade attack in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.

An official said that militants lobbed a grenade at the office of Superintendent of Police Awantipora this afternoon, resulting in injuries to four civilians.

   

The injured were shifted to PHC Awantipora where from two of them were referred to Srinagar for specialised treatment.

In a tweet, police said that one civilian was critically injured in the explosion.
