Senior National Conference leader and former MLA Kangan MianAltaf Ahmed has accused the government of neglecting the Ganderbal district insanctioning new degree colleges.
In a statement Mian Altaf said that not a single degreecollege has been sanctioned for Ganderbal district which is injustice with thepeople of the district particularly students community.
Mian Altaf said that Gund tehsil in Kangan constituency ofGanderbal district which is demanding a degree college deserves a theinstitution as it is one of the largest town’s and the students who pass outfrom the higher secondary schools from far off places have to travel a longdistance to reach nearest college.
Mian Altaf said that Ganderbal district also deserve awomen’s college for the girl students who want to pursue their studies furtherwithout any reluctance.
Mian Altaf urged the Governor’s administration to fulfillthe genuine demand of people in district.
