The ICT lab and CAL centre in schools are launched to build skill among the students and make them learn with the help of computers.

The government boys’ high school Khalmulla in Ganderbal district on Tuesday got an Information Communication Technology (ICT) lab and Computer-aided Learning (CAL) centre.

The e-inauguration of the facilities was done by the Governor Satya Pal Malik from Jammu. 

The ICT lab and CAL centre in schools are launched to build skill among the students and make them learn with the help of computers. 

The scheme is a major catalyst to bridge the digital divide amongst the students.

Deputy commissioner Ganderbal Dr Piyush Singla on the occasion announced Rs 1 lakh to the school for purchase of furniture.

The DC made this announcement while participating in the e-inauguration ceremony through video conferencing.
