Rehmati Begum, mother of senior correspondent Greater Kashmir, DA Rashid, passed away on Thursday after brief illness, at her residence at SirhamaAnantnag.
She was laid to rest at her ancestral graveyard Sirhama in Anantnag. People from different walks of life participated in her Nimaz-e-Jinaza. Her charum will be observed on December 10 at 11am at her ancestral graveyard. Staffers of Greater Kashmir and its sister concern Kashmir Uzma held a condolence meeting and prayed for peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
