Governor Satya Pal Malik has expressed anguish over Pahalgam accident in which 24 school students were injured when they were returning from excursion.
The governor instructed the health authorities to give freetreatment to the injured, an official statement said.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan said thatGovernor wished early recovery of the injured students and asked the healthdepartment to provide best and free treatment to them.
Div Com said that the injured were treated at Health CentreSeer Hamdan in Pahalgam of Anantnag district.Khan said that consequent upon Governor’sdirections, the students were given refreshment and treatment to injuredstudents and have been sent home.
