Governor Satya Pal Malik has expressed grief over the killing of Dy S.P Aman Thakur in a gunfight with the militants in Turigam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Governor has prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and expressed sympathy and solidarity with family members of Thakur, said a Raj Bhavan spokesman.
Malik has wished speedy recovery to the security personnel injured during the firefight, he said.
