Governor’s administration has ordered preparation of budget estimates of 2019-20 and the revised budget estimates 2018-19.
An order issued by the General Administration Department ( No. GAD/ Acctts/Bgt.Prep/ 2019-20/165 ) states, “The process for the preparation of the state budget 2019-20 is required to be set in motion so as to accomplish the task within the specified timelines.”
“All the administrative departments, HoDs have been requested to furnish the duly filled in Form B-4 (I) and Form B-4 (II) ( revised formats enclosed) to the finance department after getting the same authenticated by the administrative secretary concerned and the director finance/ financial advisor and CAO of the department,” the order reads.
As per the order, all the administrative secretaries have been requested to forward the budget estimates for the financial year 2019-20 and revised estimates 2018-19 complete in all respects under relevant major heads falling under demand number 01 through BEAMS and through hard copy to the general administration department by September 20 positively, so that the same are compiled, consolidated and submitted to the finance department on due date.
The order further reads, “The proposals must be forwarded strictly in accordance with the instructions issued by finance department from time to time and as per enclosed formats.”
