Govt approves 30% relaxation in syllabus for class 10, 11, 12 annual exams

J&K government has formally approved the proposal of JK Board of School Education (BOSE) for giving relaxation in syllabus to the students for upcoming annual exams.

An official said the government has approved relaxation in the syllabus for students of class 10, 11 and 12, in view of the continuous closure of the educational institutions in Valley.

   

The official said the administrative department has conveyed that there will be uniform relaxation of 30 percent in prescribed syllabus for the students of three classes for both divisions of Jammu and Kashmir, in all government and private recognized schools, for the current academic session.

“The students shall attempt 70 percent of the questions only which shall be treated equivalent to 100 percent,” said the official.
