Militants Monday lobbed grenades towards two polling stations in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A grenade was lobbed towards Rohmoo polling station butthere were no reports of any casualties in the the blast, a police officialsaid.
A petrol bomb was also hurled at Chatapora area but noinjury took place.
Stone throwing incidents on the polling booths and thevehicles of polling staffers left a few staffers injured.
The stone pelting incidents took place in Murran Chowk,Shaar Shaali, Tral, Awantipora and Pulwama but no major damage or casualty wasreported.
A police officer said the situation remained under controlin the district “however some miscreants used crude explosives at some placesto attack polling booths.”
