A grenade was lobbed at a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bunker in Nowgam on the outskirts of Srinagar on Monday.
The device, however, failed to explode. Reports said thegrenade was lobbed at the 117 BN CRPF in Gulshan Nagar area of Nowgam.
Quoting a police officer, news gathering agency GNS reportedthat a bomb disposal squad reached at the spot and that the device was defused.
