A gunfight broke out between militants and goverment forces in Kandi area of Kalantra in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday morning.
SSP Baramulla Abdul Qayoom told news agency GNS that thegunfight started in the area today morning after the joint team of forcesintensified the searches.
The search operation was suspended late Wednesday evening inwake of darkness amid bad weather in the area, SSP had said.
The joint team of police and army’s 29 RR had busted amilitant hideout in the area yesterday evening.
