Gunfight broke out between the militants and the security forces inHathlangoo village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.
Reports said that the militants hiding in the area opened fire on theforces after they were challenged, triggering a gunfight.
So far there was no report of any casualty on either side.
The authorities have suspended the Internet in Sopore and on its outskirts.
