In order to make the administration more responsive, the Governor’s administration Thursday constituted State Administrative Council with Governor NN Vohra as its chairman and his advisors as members. Meanwhile, the authorities have caused a reshuffle in the state administration.
According to an order issued by GAD, the SAC shall consider and dispose of the cases mentioned in the second schedule of the Jammu and Kashmir government business rules or such other matters as the Governor may direct to be placed before it. Chief Secretary shall function as secretary to the SAC, it reads. The administrative secretary of the concerned department may be invited to the meetings of the SAC as may be required from time to time, read the order.
According to another order issued by the General Administration Department, Dheeraj Gupta, Principal Secretary (Coordination), Resident Commissioner, J&K government, New Delhi is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. He will also hold the additional charge of Principal Resident Commissioner, J&K government, New Delhi. Rohit Kansal , Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, is transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring department . He will also hold the charge of Administrative Secretary, Hospitality and Protocol, Estates and Civil Aviation Departments. He will also function as principal Secretary (Grievances) and shall supervise the functioning of restructured Grievous Cell of J&K Government. Khursheed Ahmad Shah, Commissioner Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, is transferred and posted as Commissioner Secretary to the government, Public Works (R&B) Department.
Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner Secretary to the Government, Public works (R&B) Department is transferred and posted as Divisional Commissioner, Jammu. Hemant Kumar Sharma, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu is transferred and posted as Commissioner Secretary to the Government, ARI and Trainings Department, Vice Javid Ahmad Panjoo IFS, who shall report to the Forest, Ecology and Environment Department.
Hilal Ahmad Parray, Officer on special Duty in the General Administration Department, is posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department. Syed Sehrish Asgar, awaiting orders of adjustment is posted as Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, vice Muhammad Harun.
Muhammad Harun, Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, is transferred and posted as Director, Command Area Development, Kashmir, against an available vacancy.
