Apni Party Vice President Zaffar Iqbal Manhas on Tuesday extended gratitude to J&K government for clearing technical hiccups which were impeding development of Chanchmarag-Shadab Shopian-Dubjen road connecting to Mughal road.
In a statement, Manhas expressed his appreciation for Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Secretary of J&K B. V. R. Subrahmanyam for their personal intervention in clearance of the long pending road connectivity project.
He observed that the road will also work as an alternate bypass to Shopian town. Manhas said the efficient road connectivity contributes not only in terms of reduction in travel time but also paves way for rapid socio-economic development of people. “The clearance of this significant road project reflects the J&K government’s priority for this important sector which will surely better the standard of living of people in the area,” he said.
