Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday identified the two militants who were killed in a gunfight with the government forces in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik indentified the militants as Aliand Hubaid of Pakistan.
He said that both slain militants belonged toLashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit.
Two militants and a minor boy were killed during thegunfight at Mir Mohalla in Hajin.
The gunfight had erupted on Thursday afternoon and endedthis morning with the death of both the militants.
An official said that the charred bodies of both themilitants and a 12-year-old boy were recovered during the searches.
